Master Class

Take your writing and storytelling to the next level at Master Class 2025.

Join our stellar group of teachers on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at ITW’s Master Class, a hands-on workshop for writers of all levels. Under the tutelage of one of our bestselling instructors, you will submit the first 10-pages of your manuscript as well as a questionnaire about your writing history and receive helpful feedback on how to take your writing to the next level. Master Class offers an intensive and inspiring experience.

Each class is limited to 10 students. Materials are due approximately 6 weeks before Master Class.

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, badge and swag pick-up opens at 7:00 AM. The class runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a lunch break (on your own) from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

2025 MASTER CLASS INSTRUCTORS

You’ll need to submit a 10-page writing sample and a completed questionnaire to participate. We’ll send you the guidelines for the writing sample and questionnaire in an email after you register.

Our instructors this year include: Allison Brennan, Karen Dionne, David Ellis, Alex Finlay, Steven James, Tosca Lee, Donald Maass, Isabella Maldonado and Hank Phillippi Ryan.
